I have been highly disappointed with Vodacom lately. l lost my phone on the 22nd of February 2024. I called Vodaconm helpline and was told the steps to doing a sim swap which l did and the simswap did not go through, apparently because l had already put my simcard in my phone before the swap was processed. I wentt bought another sim card and tried again, didnt worka again . On the third attempt , l told the agaents of my history and he advised me to go to Vodacom. I went to Vodacom 4u Mall of Africa and met this manager who was so arrogant and full of himself. Anyway , l ignored all that and told my story to which heridiculed as there was no proof on the system to show l previously had done a sim swap. Nway , l asked him to then process one for me . He said he processed it and l should wait three 3hrs to activate. I waited 5hrs and still nothing . Went back to the shop and was told some fat lie about the system bieng revamped and everything was slow, so l just had to wait till he called me using an alternative number to tell me to put the new simcard in . 24 hrs later l got no call from him . I drove back again , this time furious. He was shocked to see me and all he said was , there is something wrong with your simcard. I was not happy with this response and demanded real answers. I asked that he puts on paper what he was explaining to me which he refused to do. Obviously he was lying to me again. I asked to be sent to someone who could help me since he clearly couldnt. He called some techniciaan , gave them my details and said that he will again contact me when the issue was resolved . 48 hrs later , he has not called me . I feel so helpless . I have had no phone for the past 2 weeks now, with no help from Vodacom. I have found that they do not account for their actions and the agents on the phone are not rude as they are recorded, but if you go to a Vodacom shop, they will show you flames. I cannot wait to leave this pathetic service that cannot provide a simple sim swap service for me.
Why is there no zero stars . This bus is terrible, even if they offer you for free , do not board. Bus arrived 3hrs late, the conductors were rude, bus in a terrible condition. I hope my sister arrives safetly.
