I purchased a pair of Barestep shoes for my husband in September 2025 for his birthday. He absolutely loved them & they really helped with the pain in his feet. However, barely 3 months later these shoes had holes in the bottom & in the fabric. They advertise these shoes as orthopedic shoes & even for running etc. & he had never even run in them, used them purely for walking. I emailed them beginning of January regarding this & they initially responded, however I have had no response from them at all since then & I have emailed them several times since. They have basically just gone quiet & ignored me, which is highly disappointing since my husband actually liked the shoes & it was a birthday present.. Unfortunately their shoes don't last longer than 3months in my case with very little wear on them & their customer service is extremely poor. I would NOT recommend these shoes for that reason.
STAY AWAY!!! Do not order from the online Reliable Store. When placing my order my delivery date on item was between 9-13th March. When following up on my order a week prior to these dates, to let them know that I have not received as much as a tracking number a lady with the name of Primrose said their supplier deals with their orders so I reminded her that I did not place an order with the supplier but with them. On the 14th I insisted on my money back & have not received a word back from them since. I would highly recommend that everyone who has placed an order with them & not received it, request a refund through payfast & report this company to payfast's *****ulent department, as they use their platform to commit such *****. I have just reported them & opened a case against them as well as I see that their are over a 1200 of such cases here on hello peter & many more on the google review system. It is clear that this company WILL NOT send you your order or your money back unless you take drastic measures & to avoid putting a company such as payfast in disrepute people should shut this company down. I phoned payfast & requested a refund from them & then laid a complaint with their *****ulent department. I will also be opening a case at SAPS against this company & suggest that EVERYONE on here to the same.
