I'm back again. After it took Vumatel and Afrihost 10 days to repair my fiber line, it took only one day to go down again. I'm being told to wait another 72 hours. How's this be possible when I didn't have internet more than 10 days. I feel like Vumatel isn't taking us serious because they are only FNO in our complex.
I'm so frustrated by Vuma and Afrihost. Vumatel came yo our area to do some migration or something. I've been down since then till today and I've been try to sort out the issue through Afrihost who always insisted the there's outage around my area though my neighbors has their internet. Now I'm struggling to get tech to come out to sort out the issue. I received the sms that all is well I can reboot my router but I'm still getting the LOS light and that simply mean there's no readings on my fiber line. This is poor service. There's no FNO that takes ten days or more to upgrade their infrastructure and leave their clients without internet
Vumatel and Afrihost they are nonsense service providers I've ever come across. I app**** for Vumatel fiber line through Afrihost. I took a leave on the day of installation, Vumatel techs came but they failed to finish installation due to blocked duct. They said I must wait for maintenance team to come and unblock the duct which they came and failed to unblock it. They said I must wait for the second team but that team never showed up. I stayed the whole day waiting for them. I then wrote an email to Afrihost notifying them that the installation wasn't done due to blocked duct. Mind you I made payment already that was supposed to cover me for a month of December. I contacted Afrihost via WhatsApp to follow up. I was told that there's nothing they can do, they can only log a ticked with Vumatel to come and finish up the installation. So my issue is, it's almost month end and the installation isn't done, I made payment already and they said I'm gonna have to pay again in January for me to use the internet while this month I paid but installation is not even done. What the hell did I pay for?? Now I'm suffering because Vumatel failed to do their job. Play far away from this two if possible. As for Vuma I'm super disappointed. How can they have so many teams that can not finish one installation in 10 hours. If there's fee for installation you should have just told me because the amount that I've paid is basically for installation because I don't have internet because you failed to finish installation. This is completely ****.
