Have been paying telkom manually since May 2023 and have been getting debit rejection fees added to my bill, in store can't change account details and tells you to phone call center, call center tells you to use the app/website. Finally escalated it to ICASA which seemed to get some fire under them and had them promise my account was credited for the debit rejections, person I spoke to told me that the "fine" only applies if account is not paid. Yet my account has been paid every month in some cases I was forced to pay the "fine" after they disconnected my line. Checked my account today and all their promises to ICASA of it being resolved and me accepting resolution has been for naught as my account has doubled and still reflects the "fines"! Either Telkom or ICASA needs to wake up!
Herotel wireless is the most unstable isp product on the market. Have had to phone them almost 10 times the past month just to get their things sorted, had a tech act all dramatic about how their systems aren't acting the way it should etc and how he will escalate it, yet here we are! Same problem I have spoken to these people on the phone more than my own wife over the past 6months. They expect the customer to pay for them to fix a problem on their side, with NO gaurentee that the problem will be fixed. Rather go for another product from a different ISP. IGEN wireless is expensive for very little and customer service is atrocious.
