I enrolled my son with matric college and paid the 1st installment in Dec 2025 via eft. We are at the end of January and they haven't even sent my son any material or provided assistance in any way and he needs to write exams in May. They just keep on sending automated emails about remembering to pay the monthly fee. When he sends a request for someone to call they never do and say he doesn't answer his phone. Luckily i never authorized the Debi check. I think i probably had a premonition that this was going to happen.
I opened a cheque account with ABSA in May 2025. On 19 December 2025 my account was debited with R555 reference bos jrn. When I enquired about this at the branch I was told that a duplicate account had been opened in May, which I had never used and had incurred fees. I was then told to pay another R137 to close the account to avoid being charged moving forward for an account which the bank erroneously opened and which I had never used. I am highly upset because the consultant advised me to migrate to an ultimate account but now I am paying 57 for a 2k cash send. What the hell is going on with ABSA. So I'm paying just under 500 just for banking fees
On 24 Sept I tried loading a 250 voucher via banking app on to the supabets platform, however, it kept on rejecting that I need to verify email address probably because I hadn't played there for a while. I contacted supabets via chat on their website and was asked to forward the voucher nr and ref nr as proof of the voucher i was trying to redeem. I was only able to verify my email today at 1pm but the voucher said that it had already been redeemed. I then called the voucher company who confirmed that the voucher had indeed been redeemed at 09h15 this morning on the lottostar platform. I called lottostar who confirmed that no money had been loaded onto my account for several months. When I contacted supabets to inform them of this, the consultant just said that they contacted the voucher company who confirmed that the voucher had been redeemed on lottostar. So why did the agent at supabets ask for my voucher. I contacted lottostar and they are busy investigating who redeemed that voucher.
I paid afrihost 1223 for Nov an Dec premiums but they still haven't activated my services so on 27 December I requested them to cancel services with effect from 1 January 2024 as I paid them for Nov an Dec but my account is still suspended. How can you invoice a customer when they have not being and still are not receiving any services. I had to spend more than 1000 separately on data because the wifi was suspended even though I paid
