Imraan is the classic Lord of ****mers that are employed here! I was thinking of trading my brand new hatchback for a JAC bakkie but decided against it when he kept directing me to sell it to a well known 2nd hand car dealership. That's when he started calling me "to the deal." He started throwing money promises "to sweeten the deal." Meanwhile he his finance department ladies made me sign blank papers to "hurry things up" when all the time I am telling them I am no longer wanting to continue the deal! Imraan was the chief instigator. Then they even cornered me to approve a Debi check as part of the application! Once that was done that's when Imraan turned nasty saying deal is done and it cost him R23 800 and I should pay him that much! He even **** to say I never said I am no longer buying the bakkie! He **** saying the car was already registered to me. But I reminded him that the deal was subject to me selling my car, which I am no longer doing. He didn't care and the finance ladies were suddenly his false witnesses saying I didn't sign blank papers! Niw they wanted me to pay to cancel the deal! Registration cost them R9 000 they said, and taking off the consignment canopy cost them R11 000. When I demanded proof of these he started running around and saying his lady sidekicks will show me, which they never did. From the sales person, to the boss's son, a bunch of ********s masquerading as a car dealership. Do not do business with these maggots. They will devour you. Is there half a star rating for these *******?
This is a follow up story. Bought a used Toyota Hilux double cab, which turned out t be a skorokoro. I complained and reported all the faults to no avail. Then when I finally wrote a review on hellopeter the McCarthy PRO machine went into full defensive mode accusing me of being a year late without considering the fact that i had been complaining for almost a year without any resolution of my complaints. Then the Woodmead branch manager who have been ignoring me all this time was made to call me, I guess by the franchisor. He introduced himself as Dawie, and he berated me for going to hellopeter. He threatened to walk away if I continue to write negative reviews. He said I'll have to go back to hellopeter and say the issues I had were attended to. He kept me on a leash long enough for the franchisor to be off his back and then he walked away like he threatened initially. He did not resolve my complaints. Lesson here is that these people are not serious about customers satisfaction, they don't want public outcry and scrutiny. If they can swindle us in private and we suffer silently they are happy. I will continue this review with more details later

<div>I bought a Toyota Raider double cab online from Automark under the Woodmead Toyota branch in February 2023. I paid cash full. The salesman was ******* *****. He vouched that the bakkie was in impeccable condition, he said the previous owner only added mileage, everything was in super good condition. I wanted to travel to Gauteng to assess the vehicle myself but he always discourage me by saying the vehicle is gone for minor repairs like dent removal or seat repair or tyre changing. Long story short when the vehicle was delivered there were multiple issues with it: thermostat not working, this Aircon .not working, radiator burst, steering controls not working. Clutch noisy on rev 1000 - 2000 rpm. Rear tyres worn out. Later on I discover front bumper is held by clue and *****s when the glue came off and I inspected the bumper closely only to find *****s at the bottom. All these issues were reported to ******* and his immediate supervisor but they never responded in writing! They only fixed the thermostat and the radiator only. The other problems persist; and they now claim I must have bumped the car! Lesson is stay away from Woodmead Automark cars, they sell salvaged and accident damaged cars under the pretence they are good second hand cars.bThey using the Toyota brand the run their dirty business</div>
I booked an airport shuttle service for the 13/10/2023 with EZ Shuttle which they captured as being for the 14/10/2023 on their system. I arrived on the 13/10/23 at Cape Town international airport and they were not there. I phoned their call centre to enquire and was told I am booked for the 14th. I was then advised to cancel and was told the system would refund me. Needless to say I am still waiting. I emailed them all they asked but still no refund. Lesson here is please do not use EZ shuttle, they got no service, let alone customer care. Do not book shuttle services in advance, wait until you get to your destination; there are plenty of alternative affordable transportation when you get there. EZ Shuttle will take your money and leave in a latch
