Telkom is saying my insurance is canceled due to non payment when I have made payments and the mistake is on they're side. What is annoying you can not take this up with the store the insurance is a 3rd party vendor with a horrible service.
I have processed a claim around the 14 of Jan to the insurance claim department it took a month for my claim to be reviewed, another month for my claim to be approved I've had to go the the store and call the call centre numerous times just get assisted mind you my account is still being debited on monthly basis with no installment missed but I don't have the device since jan I've had to take time on my off day and go to the telkom store in Vangate mall Cape Town where I am given attitude by the consultants and told to call the insurance company there is nothing they can do while when one is taking out the contract this not being explained that when you claiming you will be dealing with a 3rd party that you can even call directly but only mail and they only respond oces a day. I was told about the access fee last month of R2250 which I paid on the 20th of April bug till today I am still waiting on the device to be delivered it's still a back and forth on the address and the device that thru will issue me mind you this claim was done around the 14 of Jan we are now in May what a terrible horic and painful process to be dealing with.
