Bad old food and ****roaches.
Deeply disappointed in food quelity, service and hygiene. The mushroom sauce smelled like rotten feet, there was almost no sauce on the burger (i checked the sauce because the last one had almost no sauce on it the last time we were there) and the lettice looked like it was from a few days ago. ( Checked the mushroom sauce because when I ordered I told the waiter last time the burger was dry and then found the green goo that resembled lettice at the bottom) The burger was clearly prepared a few days ago and represented as fresh. The waiter never checked the sauce as I requested and presented me with an old burger. It was old and smelled sour. The chips was reheated and not fresh. We got milkshakes and one of the strawes had a ****roach in it. The waiter took the food away after I showed him the burger is old and no one came to follow up until I asked to speak to someone. Mananger came and said he knew nothing it was the other manager who just left. Lame excuses and bad service. I am so put of I wil not return. We spent over R800 after the burger was removed on pizza and drinks for the kids. Totally not worth going back. I left without eating. Dont think their hygiene is any good. Last time my husb had diaree after we were there from a snitchel. It was also mushroom sauce on a pork snitchel. We brushed it off, but now we know the food is unsafe.

Foodlovers Brackenfell. Deli & fresh Food off
<p> </p> <p>I was at Foodlovers Brackenfell and bought 4 samosas and some fresh melons salad. 2 of the samosas was bad. This evening I dished some melon with ice-cream and its the same thing. Half of the melon is off.</p> <p>U would think I would have learnt by now because its the third time that I bought samosas that is off. I specifically asked the guy behind the counter and he said it was made this morning. What a lie. I feel like phoning the health department. Honestly. They are not disposing of the previous days food. Its clear that they are simply adding fresh food to the old.</p> <p>Food is EXTREMELY expensive and half the stuff i bought is off. I have not had any watermelon, but i assume its going to be the same thing. I bought 2 quarters for my baby who loves watermelon.
