I bought a Granny Goose four seasons duck down duvet from @Home store in Eastrand Retail park. As this was not my first Granny Goose four seasons duvet I was certain that I was buying the best that money can buy. How disappoint it was to experience the polar opposite. I don’t know what happened with the quality of this product but on a daily basis what I experience is that each time I make my bed feathers and dust are released from the duvet leaving my bedroom furniture filthy. This forced me to clean and dust off my floors and each piece of furniture in my bedroom on a daily basis. As a person with sinus infection I feel that my well-being is compromised on a daily due to the dust caused by this duvet. I reached out to Granny Goose and was told that they have a process where they can take my duvet for assessment so that they can sew it up again. The unfortunate part was that they have a massive number of returns that need to be reworked/sewn up so they can’t advise when they’d be able to accommodate me. This leaves me in a huge predicament. Given Granny Goose product prices you’d expect to never experience such issues stemming from a below average product quality. My old duvet which could easily be 10 years old seems to be of much better quality than this new and way more over priced duvet.
I was in an accident last month and subsequently my car was written off. I didn’t anticipate that would be the resolution from my insurer so dealing with the whole experience was overwhelming shocking. My claim was delegated to Basetsana Khalo when the initial person that was handling my claim went on leave. In the beginning I thought that Basetsana was trying to find reasons to decline my claim. Out of frustration I shared this view with her and to my surprise she was not offended and insured me that her mandate is to offer me stelar service and a resolution that would not leave me compromised. During the claim process not only did we connect on a professional level but Basetsana showed me that she’s human like I was and opened up to me in a manner that allowed me to see and know that I was in the safest and most caring hands. Basetsana held me through this process always assuring me that she had my best interests at heart. This was not in her words but more in her actions. I appreciate everything she did to fight for me and what I rightfully deserved. She didn’t tick boxes for the sake of doing what she needed to do as part of her responsibility but she treated me with utmost kindness, compassion and respect. I felt that she was always in my corner and that my interest would never be compromised. Basetsana Khalo I can never thank you enough. Thank you for making one of the most traumatic experiences of my life so much more bearable. Momentum insurance has the best representative in you. Thank you so much for Ubuntu bakho.
