I am not surprised by the large number of dissatisfied customers and how this company stays in business is a miracle. After a long battle to have my card renewed - a simple operation that Agility should take care of automatically - I finally received my card after two odd months of back and forth emails but had to wait another month for the funds from the old card to be transferred to the new one... once again something Agility should take care of. Since then none of my salary deductions to Agility have been transferred to my card! I had no other option but to cancel my card which they say will take up to 30 days... if not longer.
E-Mail NOT working! On Wedenesday 7 Aug 10h40 via Messenger I asked Telkom to look into the vast number of spam mails all telkomsa.net users were receiving. Telkom responded around 16h54 with a number of routine suggestions that I for one already have in place on my PC and iPhone to limit spam. Telkom then requested my email addres and cell number. By Thursday midday I realised that I could not receive any mail and contacted Telkom again and request to speak to a Manager of someone who has insight into the issue. By late afternoon Telkom again requested my email address and ID Number. By 19h00 after again contacting Telkom they suggested that I change my password on the telkomsa.net Portal as all indications are that it was incorrect! Although all these passwords were saved on my PC I could now somehow not log into the Portal either. At around 20h00 Telkom via Messenger suggested that I call 10210. Well I have been on and off 10210 since; Telkom tried changing my password twice and I still get an error message trying to login to my mail via Webmail, Outlook (PC) of iPhone! Still either saying the Session has expired or Username of Password is incorrect. I finally got a Ref no for my issue being escalated but has been without mail since Wednesday. It is clear Telkom messed up my mailbox account hence the error message and this all I wanted them to look into why we are receiving so much spam mails! The incompetence is beyond belief... I now feel the public's pain in trying to resolve their Telkom issues. AND I AM STILL WAINTING MYSELF FOR TELKOM TO COME TO MY PARTY!
My daughter was on my Bestmed Scheme until 2018 when she was no longer a student and got her own Bestmed Med Aid. In 2014 whilst still on my Med Aid due to personal stress/stomach related issues she visited our GP who treated her for stress but unbeknown to us he seemed to have diagnosed her having Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). For the past 10 years did she neither have any similar conditions again. As mentioned in 2018 she went onto her own Bestmed Med Aid and did not tick on the application form that she had any Digestive System related issues. Now in Jan 2024 - 10 years later - her son was born and Bestmed refuse to pay the medical bills on account of NON-DISCLOSURE. I am not a GP but how is IBS and your crucial Maternity benefits related? And if Bestmed retrieved her medical records from our GP why was my daughter not contacted and warned in 2018 when she joined Bestmed that there may be a future problems claiming for Maternity benefits? I find this totally unacceptable and irregular unless someone can explain the connection between IBS and Maternity benefits to me. So right now we are out of pocket by almost R80k having had to pay cash upfront. Bestmed members need to be made aware of these traps set by inconsiderate medical aids.
