Found an insect in the Douwe Egberts coffee I purchased. I reported that fact to them. Their response was mentioning all the hygienic measures they take. However they do not accept the fact that this has happened to a consumer. It is my word against theirs. The fact that the quality of their product was compromised they do not acknowledge and and their response was not towards customer satisfaction.
The service has deteriorated tremendously. I have been an annual subscriber ever since I joined them - more than five years. With annual subscription you get a discount of one month premium. This worked well until 25 February 2024. The anniversary of the subs is March 25. Their system shows I am owing money because they have not credited the free month. Some agents are sympathetic with promise Finance department will sort it out - Nothing happens. Others have no understanding thereof. Try speaking to a supervisor - not available with promise of ring back. In the meantime we are deprived of a service for which a payment has been made. How do you communicate with someone of authority?
