If there was a ZERO I would select that. I have a paint order for R12k - it is the most frustrating thing for a customer to not be able to phone the store directly. At Builders you need to phone 0860 number - explain your full story - then they log the call with a reference # - then they email you to confirm the ref # - then they forward the call to the relevant store - and IF YOU ARE LUCKY you hear from someone within 3 days. Absolute MADNESS!!! Today I called the 0860# - asked to be put through to N1 City branch - they took my details and forwarded it to the store - 4hrs later I phoned BACK to say I am STILL waiting. again they try to put me through - no answer from the store. Then while in a meeting I see a missed call - after my meeting I call back - it's the damn 0860 # again... I ask for the store - AGAIN no answer from the store. It is now 16:29 and STILL no contact between the PAINT Department at N1 City and myself. R12K order too late. Hello BUCO!
I was GIFTED a multi/pressure cooker in February - at the time I was renovating so I didn't open the box - merely stored it safely. A few weeks ago, I opened the box to make a stew (winter) and the entire one side of the appliance was dented badly. I contacted Takealot and they mentioned that I can't have it replaced as it was outside of their replacement policy in terms of timing – even though the box was not damaged AT ALL - you could see that the appliance was still in its original packaging/strapping. I am a very regular customer, and I am also a Takealot-MORE customer. I emailed Frederik Zietsman (Group CEO) - zero response - not even an acknowledgement. I then emailed Dave Buck (Product & Engineering Executive), Sam Joynt (Customer & Bus Support Exec) and Kim Reid (Founder). ALSO attaching pictures of the damage! Not one of them bothered to respond - or acknowledge my email requesting them to please review the situation. ALSO attaching pictures of the damage! This says SO MUCH for their Customer Service Policy. I will in future not be using Takealot - cancelling my MORE subscription - and have already spread the word far and wide!! GOODBYE TAKEALOT!
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK AT NAILS OF NOTE PADDOCKS: I went for a pedicure on Sat with Gel paint + soak off. FIRSTLY - they don't soak off they FILE off! then, they rush you through there like a sausage machine - constantly checking the clock on the wall. Machines aren't working - staff are forever swapping lamps and other tools! The file they use on your feet looks like a cheese grater - keeps falling apart! Also - staff talk to themselves across the room in their own language - no other conversation is had with the customers at all. You feel like an alien! SHOCKING! A Pedicure is supposed to be a PAMPER session - well definitely not in this place! I sent a message about the bad experience on their FB page, my comment was quickly deleted, then when I asked why it was deleted, I was blocked from their page! GREAT business management & customer service - usually you want to know about bad service so that you can investigate and prevent it from reoccurring. Clearly this is a good indication of how the management of the shop operates! DO NOT GO TO PADDOCKS - try another store instead! NEVER again for me!
