If you're planning on moving into Big Tree Estate be prepared to experience power and water outages every now and again, be preprepared to pay ridiculously inflated rates for electricity, be prepared to have poor cellphone network connectivity throughout your stay and be prepared to only get one third of your deposit when you move out because they first make you sign an acknowledge that you will pay R1795 for the cleaning and painting of the unit even if the walls have no visible damage or how clean the unit is during the inspection. Then they later charged me an additional R1120 which they say they charged R1000 for moving after 12pm on the last of the month(which is still within the month that paid the full months rent for mind you) which is something that wasn't stated on the lease agreement, the handbook/welcome pack or any official documentation. They claim the R120 is for changing light bulbs which i know that the didn't change because i made sure that I replaced all bulbs that needed replacing before moving out. So they'll always find a plausible excuse to deduct as much money as they possible can from your deposit.
