I'm in shock that so many things could go wrong with one claim and that so many people lack sense. I submitted a claim 1 and a half months ago, it's been one step forward and 10 steps back every week , ever since. I am still waiting for ANY work to be done on my car. I have tried everything but it seems Pineapple could not care less. 1. Pineapples towing assist in the app did not work. 2. They don't have a proper escalation process or their staff do not know what the escalation process is. 3. They do not communicate with their 3rd party consultants. 4. They blame their customers for the negligence of their third parties. 5. Their complaints department is 1 person! Who takes weeks to look at your complaint. 6. They close your claim without telling you, however they tell everyone else who should be working on getting your car fixed. 7. Trying to get hold of anyone that can help is a nightmare. 8. They use pictures taken by a tow truck driver for an assessment and only get quotes on some of the (visible) damage, then try to get you to fix the car yourself because the quote is "under excess", when you ask for a proper assessment, you are told they do not do physical assessments. You have to get that done yourself. Once you do this YOU GET A QUOTE FOR ALMOST 3 TIMES THE VALUE and Pineapple again just takes their own time to do anything constructive to actually do their jobs and get your claim sorted. After 1.5 months I dont know when they will actually get my car repaired.
