Poor Service I visited the Ackermans store at the Mall of Tembisa today to return some clothes(2 items). I was attended to by a lady named Palesa. I had R90 change from the purchase. She requested that I produce the bank card that I had used when making the initial purchase, but I told her that I did not have it on me. Palesa then informed me that she could not pay cash without that card and offered to give me a gift card, which I declined because I needed the cash for something else. Why are we treated like ********s when they are suppose to give us our money back but they did not verify our bank cards when we paid on the initial purchase? She rudely informed me that she could not assist me any further. To make matters worse, there was a man who appeared to be a supervisor and stood beside the cashier without doing anything to assist. The service is quite bad; they shouldn't make customers accept gift cards when they don't want them. I wasn't returning everything on the receipt; it was just product swapping, and the amount in question was less than one hundred rands. I am left with clothes that do not fit, which I will likely have to donate, as they would not assist me. I will never set foot in this store again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The customer service was horrible, and I highly doubt the cashier has ever had customer service training. This is the second time I am receiving a horrible service in this store.i am totally frustrated ..
On my visit to Osbro tembisa( Mayibuye) I intended to purchase a kettle, but I was met with a series of frustrating interactions with the staff. I was informed that I could not open the box to view the item, and there were no display models available for inspection. When I requested that a staff member open the box for me, I was met with rudeness . The staff member questioned my request, stating that what was in the box would be the same as what was shown in the picture. The situation escalated when he indicated that I was a "difficult customer" and called over another staff member. This second employee further insulted me by suggesting that I believed myself to be superior to others and accused me of not treating people with respect. This exchange occurred in front of other customers, which added to my embarrassment and frustration. And i noticed that the staff members did not have name tags, which further contributed to the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed during my visit. The service I experienced was unacceptable and does not reflect well on your store's reputation. I strongly urge you to address these issues with your team to ensure that future customers receive the respectful and helpful service they deserve. Due to this encounter, I will not be recommending osbro Tembisa to anyone.
