I bought the phone at ackermans in December then in March the phone was not charging, I took the phone back to them and they told me to leave it they will be sending it to repairs , I never received any communication after that 3 weeks later I got an sms with the reference number saying I need to make a payment and I did not know what Iam paying for. Then I received a call from Samsung saying I must check the quotation and I have never received any quotation they asked my email address. To my surprise the quotation was R5000 when I called the number and if I cant pay that 5000 I must pay R300 for courier fees and I was never told anything about that at ackermans they never explained anything they told me I will receive a call when the phone is ready that was it

I would like to thank all the stuff members of Arkemans Steeldale for their help, patience and understanding. Their customer service was great thank you guys you all went beyond and bent backwards to try and help me even when the situation was unbearable and hard. Thank you

I ordered online on the 6th of March till to this day I have not received my order. This is not the first time this is happening, 3 months back they separated the order and it took a whole 3 weeks before receiving the remaining order. Your service is pathetic Ackermans.

On sunday the 8th of March i visited the Ackerman's Middelburg mall and has to say i was really not happy with the service they provided us . The staff on the floor were so not helpful and unbothered . Even when you went to ask information from they are were so bored and not welcoming and not helpful . The customer service there is appalling

Went in-store to return a pair of shoes. Mind you we bought 3 pairs in December 2025 for Jan 2026. We misplaced our receipt and was told in-store that they cant pull up a statement of a date of purchase even even thou we advised them which month it was purchased. Less than 3 months old and was bought on a Ackermans store card with todays technology you cant print a slip??? What a waste of time and petrol - The manager and staff at Kenilworth were not helpful and claimed their system is "basic" and that no Ackerman's store is able to. Although google says they can!!! ( and by the way the other two pairs are fine and its not like we wanted the credit we wanted to replace it with a more expensive shoe instead! )

I was told by the cashier that I could not make a purchase and had to apply for a new card and wait for the card to be issued before I could make a purchase. I live directly behind the Ackermans store at Pine Street in Greytown. Staff were burning boxes on the premises, causing heavy smoke in the residential area. My clothes and car were covered in ash, and my neighbour’s room filled with smoke. I asked an employee to stop the fire and was ignored. I later experienced chest pain from the smoke and had to seek medical attention. When I reported this to the manager, Ayanda, she was rude, dismissive, and raised her voice. She also said reporting to head office would be “of no use” and that “nothing is going to happen,” which shows a complete lack of accountability. Burning waste in a residential area is unsafe and unacceptable. The manager clearly needs training on proper waste disposal and professional customer service. This matter has been reported to head office. If no action is taken, I will escalate it to the relevant authorities.

I placed an online order on the 22 Feb 26 - to date no package has been received and the courier has updated the tracking as delivered. I sent an email to Ackermans info to follow up no reply. I ask my son to call as I am away and they say he did not place the order so he cannot follow up regardless that I had put his mobile number as the contact. I then sent a mail to customer care A Lufuno replies and asks me what is my query I advise him my package was not received After this an automated reply of your case has been resolved and closed. I then reply with I am not happy with the answer as I have no package I send all the info of tracking etc and the order number He replies asking me about receipts of the store purchase. Until now no package and no reply from Ackermans customer care. Bearing in mind I order monthly from numbers suppliers - with no issues I need my package or my refund
