Worst Experience ever. Originally I purchased a VW GTI in 2024 , It was brand new , not even a month later I had issues whereby the caliper bolt shot out whilst driving and nearly endanger my life. VW Umhlanga first could not find the fault , Jenine the service advisor is not only rude but provides poor service in terms of feedback. They had to retain the car and I had to beg for a courtesy car which was provided and filthy. That to I had to escalate to the manager for assistance. With an ongoing battle with them the finally replaced my vehicle with great difficulty. Till now they did not give me feedback as to how the caliper bolt shot out and seems was swept undercover. Now with the new VW I took it for first service , Jenine again the advisor. There was an issue whereby my rear door handle was sticky and tight, took it for service as well, I had no feedback after 12 what was going on, I had to call in, Jenine said it will be ready by 3pm. I went at 3 pm , she said the door handle is not sorted and will take about 20 minutes , I ended up waiting for over an hour. The door handle was not fixed as they did not have a " *****driver " which they needed to order, further to this they loosened my handle and the part is almost falling out. She said it will take only a few days to get the *****driver and this was on the 29th of Jan 2025. It is now the 10 of Feb 2025 with no feedback. I called VW today 5 times , 3 times they cut me upfront , 4th time Valencia answered and transferred me which cut , 5th time I called and asked to speak to a manager, " Candey " no feedback has been given yet or call from him. They even called me to ask about the experience I gave feedback the lady said she will escalate to the manager, but they gave a dont care attitude. VW Umhlanga has the worst service ever and I highly do not recommend anyone going there.
Unfortunately by no choice I have to accept this service provider due to the contractual basis with our Estate as a service provider. Absolutely pathetic service including from a customer experience perspective. They have no other way of contacting them for assistance other than a whatsapp chat and when you need help they take forever to respond sometimes of no use at all. Every month without fail you have issues with internet connection and even tho it is a Fibre line I choose a 20 MB package but my speed test shows if I'm lucky I get a upload / download of 10 Mb rarely, to most days average of 5 mb yet paying the full price of the package. I will never recommend this company as a service provider.
