I am beyond happy with CAP Security in my new neighbourhood (Sydenham). While my husband was away CAP made an effort to come and check on me everyday- seeing that I would leave home and arrive home safely, not leaving until they knew the front door was locked behind me. They are friendly and I often see them shoo napping Uber drivers and lingerers who hang out on our corner under the tree. Thank you so much, CAP!
We pay for a 60 Mbps line from Rain, yet our internet download speed rarely exceeds 7 Mbps. My husband has made multiple complaints, phone calls, and inquiries, but nothing has improved. I can’t even download a simple PDF file, and my husband works from home, relying on a stable connection. Rain’s only advice has been to “reboot the line,” even though our ping results clearly show the issue is on their side—not ours. We use an outdoor router, and all our devices (including our cellphones) are on the Rain network. Still, the performance is unacceptable. “Disappointed” doesn’t begin to describe our experience. On Monday, I’ll be looking into switching to a more reliable service provider.
UNHAPPY CUSTOMER: We are currently signed onto the Rain One package. My experience with Rain for the last 8 months has been absolutely awful. We were downgraded about 8 months ago after being on a "promotion" for two years for a 60mbps line to a 30mbps. We asked to be re-upgraded but our internet connection has been borderline unusable since then. We still have not been upgraded. We are told to restart or move the modem- we do that before we call. It never works. The connection is mostly unstable with huge drops and huge latency that last for around 20 minutes at a time. I call to sort this out but the call is put down stating that they will call back which they never do. My husband works from home and needs fast connection which is why we got rain in the first place. The worst part is that for 2 years before this, Rain had been absolutely amazing. I recommended them to everyone I know. We haven't moved house, there has been no load shedding, our modem is in the same spot so why has it become so bad. Is it the because of the GeForce Now service eating up bandwidth? I am fed up and unhappy with Rains service Latest reference number: 17819265
