Don't use these guys, they are a bunch of ******! They will use any and every excuse to not honor the warrenty. They will insist that only the original invoice is valid (a copy is not good enough), they will look for the smallest reason to void the warrenty (the slightest of scratch on the terninal), then they will try to give you a loan battery instead of replacement.
They seem to do all they say they will do but they will go out of their way to make everything as difficult as posible. You will have to Whatsapp and phone multiple times to get pre-authorisation. You will wait for hours (like 6 of them) to get the approval. You will have to get multiple authorisations when you need to go to the hospital, 1 of casualties and then again for x-rays etc. All of this makes me very concerned about how a serious emergency will be handeled. Im going back to Medical Aid as I cannot handle this any more.
I no longer feel confident recommending Affinity. The service has decined since when we started with them 3 years ago. We have never needed them for an emergency but I am not confident their response will meet the emergency. It is currently 11:30 am and I have been trying to get a sick note since 9am. As the communication is on WhatsApp i need to constantly watching my phone for any reply otherwise the chat gets closed. I am seriously considering moving to a better service.
The canned responce means nothing. If you get the responce below on Hello Peter, don't expect anything to happen. Webuycars.co.za’s reply 01 May 2024 at 08:19 Dear ***x Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience you have had.
