On the 29th of August 2024. I booked for a one night stay just to relax with my man and have an alone time and relax. But instead we had a very bad experience to the point that I even cried. On check in had to wait from 10 only to be checked in at 14:00. Which we understood as its their check in time. In the room there was no drinking water, no s**** for tea. No glasses to drink water the toilet was running non stop making noise only to find that it was broken after spending 2 hours of our time in the room with a plumber 😪. When I asked for water I was told by the room service manager that it's not like the sun will go down without us getting water. When I called for a wifi voucher I was told to come down to fech it at reception or wait for a call they call me back which they didn't I had to fetch it my self sfter an hour of waiting. When I went downstairs to request water and glasses I was told to pay R30 for glasses and carry them myself with ice to my room as they are too busy for room service and that I case that myself they are full😭😭. In the morning around past 7:00 . I called to request an iron and iron board was told they will bring it. Until 10:00 there was nothing. I bummed in to one house keeper whom promised to bring it. She then send a house keeper named Tshegofatso. Who brought only an iron and told me to use a towel on the table as there were no ironing boards 😏😏. All this while everything I was reporting them to reception only the plumber responded positively at the cost of my time with my partner. During check out I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that there were manager all along who did nothing During my stay but can apologize when I am leaving. Tears could not stop running down thinking of how I just wasted my money for what my man wanted to be a restful weekend instead it turned to be a weekend of hurting words of its not like the sun will go down & We are too busy to give you room service & come down to fetch wifi voucher. I am sitting now in my bed asking myself why did I waste my money for the emotions I am feeling now. I am sorry but I am still crying even as I write this. Please as I sad I need my money back.

I have a savings account with FNB. Since 2019 I can't withdraw my money as I was told my ID have been listed as *****. It's funny how it's only appearing at FNB. I have went to even investigate my finger print nothing is showing called credit bereu nothing of such is showing. FNB told me to come with affidavit stating that I am not a ***** I did still they refuse to release my money. Can anyone help me with this matter please. An I want to use FNB services as I have had good service with them but now I am even scared to bank with them my salary as I am not sure if I will be able to withdraw or use my funds.
I am writing this with shame as I was expecting all good reviews when I read the reviews I felt defeated. I was called by Sanlam agent sometimes in March to say my pension will be in my banks within six weeks till only to find that they said they did not receive my withdrawal forms. But I am asking myself the first agent who called to say they have received my applications what was she talking about. I have went back to my HR to fill in the forms I am hoping this Tim I will get feedback. We are leaving in financial strain in South Africa. We really don't needs all this hassle when we have to get our hard earned money and to top it off get rude agents on the call when we inquire. Hope to hear from you.
