On the 16th of May 2024 I was travelling with my husband and daughter to Pretoria. I gave my FNB card to my daughter to pay for the toll gate - R25.50 with reference number: 74067244135132544790122. We were travelling in a white Mazda 3 with registration number CAA 116 043. The second transaction of R25.50 was deducted also on the 16th of May 2024 with reference number: 74067244135132544682790. It is one car that the fee was deducted twice. Kindly arrange a refund at your earliest convenience. R25.50 might not be much, but if the cashier deducts R25.50 twice from various people it amounts to an astronomical amount. I am a pensioner and every cent counts!!!! Good day, I refer to my email dated 15 May 2024 at 20:48 with all the relevant attachments and to which I have had no feedback.
Good day, If there was a rating lower than zero that would not even compensate for what Cell C has done! I refer to the below email received from Nthabiseng Moloto with regards to a dispute on account number 123217478 [mobile number 084 688 2401]. On the 30th of April 2024 Cell C ********ly /*****ulently deducted an amount of R346.81 from my FNB account number 62037815258. I contacted Cell C via email and informed them of the ******** / *****ulent deduction from my FNB account. On the 1th of May 2024 at 10:43 I received a call from Cell C where I informed them that I do not want to upgrade my contract as I am a pensioner living on a SASSA grant!!!! My daughter, Christell Havenga was present during this conversation. The recording should also be on record with Cell C as you are informed at the beginning of each call that the conversation is recorded. The conversation on the 1st of May 2024 at 10:43 lasted 12 minutes and 28 seconds [screenshot below]: Cell C had NO authorisation to deduct this amount from my FNB account number. The normal amount that was deducted from my FNB account was R198.92 per month. I reiterated that I am staying on the same contract during the conversation on the 1st of May 2024!!!!! What astonishes me is that Cell C phoned on the 1st of May 2024 with regards to upgrading my contract, which I declined to upgrade, and the morning of the 30th of April the ******** / *****ulent deduction went through on my FNB account. I further demand the name of the consultant that I spoke to on the 1st of May 2024 [as per Cell C’s recording] in order to open a case of ***** against this consultant. The consultant tarnished my credibility and reputation in such a manner that I had to do an affidavit to reflect my credibility with regards to the fact that I declined to upgrade my current Cell C contract. Today I had to drive to Riebeeckstad police station and the staff there informed me that I have to first open a case against Cell C. I declined and mentioned that I will afford Cell C the opportunity to resolve the issue. I then had to drive to Welkom police station, which is 15km from Riebeeckstad to get the affidavit signed. Not only did you waste my time, but also the fuel for travelling to Welkom police station. Cell C continues to harass me with marketing calls and I did not sign up to receive any marketing calls!!! This equals harassment of a client. I instruct you now in writing to remove me from any Cell C marketing list and request that you confirm in writing that I have been removed from ANY Cell C marketing list. Cell C have ****** money from a pensioner through an ******** / *****ulent deduction from my FNB account. I therefor give you 48 hours to resolve this dispute as the turnaround time mentioned in the first call with reference number 4050100498 stated that Cell C will revert with the outcome of this case within 24 hours.. Should this dispute not be resolved satisfactory you will leave me no other option than to lodge a case of ***** against Cell C and report you to ICASA. Please confirm receipt of this email immediately upon delivery. Sincerely, Anita Havenga
