After receiving a pamphlet drop, I called to get someone from Speedy Roof Repairs to give me a quote on one the services they provide, which is fitting Skylights. The gentleman arrived after a week given that they were quite busy. After telling him what I needed done and sending my email address to his assistant, I waited for another week to get a quote. this never arrived. And now, a week later still no quote. So I'm wondering maybe the job I have is just too small or am I dealing with a little more than bad service here, perhaps discrimination? I feel that if people cannot keep to the promise in their name then they should not be in business.
I thought that after you speak to someone with some authority within Vodacom that billing problems would be sorted out, but even with assurances they still can't get the left hand to talk to the right. I eventually had to place an instruction with my bank to stop the debit order with them and reverse the incorrect billing. Now I guess, because they won't be receiving payment they might see fit to sort out the problems I'm having
Shameel Joosub has shown that he cares only for profits and not for any of the clients that pay his salary, You try and cancel a Vodacom contract and you will see if they actually give a damn for customers. The call centre has been has been trained to milk South Africans instead of assist them. Vodacom truly sucks

I never thought that I would have to experience this in Johannesburg in this day and age. I approached a company operating in the Packaging Industry to provide us with some of cores that they manufacture.

The first interaction was very pleasant and we ordered the product and paid for it via EFT upfront as that was their terms. At this time we enquired how long it would take to produce, and we were told 2 days after payment is reflected. So last Thursday (29 Sept) after we paid we queried if they received payment (which they did) and we asked how long before getting final product since they did say 2 days after payment.

Monday 3rd Oct 9h00am we called in to follow up on progress and left a message for the production Manager to call us back.

Monday 3rd Oct 13h00 same again, still no results

Tuesday called in again to no response.

Then this morning Wednesday 5th we decided to go in and check on what is happening,

The production manager was called and we queried our order.

This is when we were told "This is not a Pick 'n Pay you can't just take things off the shelf"

I immediately said that it was he that promised a two day production cycle from date of payment, and that he also said he had stock to fill our small order, and I asked him why would it be a problem now.

He then re-butted with "well you can take your money and go" that is when I asked him if it was the colour of our skin that is the issue. He walked off in a huff and came back after a few minutes with our invoice and cash, and that was the end of that.

He did not have the decency to explain why he could not fulfil our order or why he could not give us a delivery date after the promise of two days when he had a small quantity in stock.

I am very dissappointed in dealing with organisations like this, and they should be reprimanded for total inconsideration for customers especially when it comes across as racist.
