Nice one or two night stayover for business trip.
Money worth but needs some maintenance in the rooms for example wall plug loose in the wall and bedside lamps not working. TV with Netflix and other apps a plus point. Towles needs replacement or must be tumble dried as they are not soft as you would expect. otherwise no complaint and the reception was friendly and breakfast was great. very friendly staff and room was clean.

Bussiness trip
Rooms are big and clean. very nice swimming pool area and braai facilities. Breakfast area very "cold" and unfriendly and breakfast needs some work. staff very friendly and helpful.

Nuwerus recommended - awesome stay.
My stay at Nuwerus Lodge in Paarl from 5-7 June 2024 was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived at reception to the final breakfast, every aspect of my stay was delightful and pleasant. The rooms were spacious and everything was in perfect working order, ensuring a comfortable experience. The highlight for me was the cozy fireplace in the breakfast room, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere on those cold winter mornings. The owners' personal touch in preparing breakfast each morning added a special charm to the stay. I am already looking forward to returning to Nuwerus Lodge when I visit Paarl again in the future. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

Will not recommend
### Review for Lodge I stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights in May 2024. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The place requires significant renovation. The rooms are very outdated, with old, uncomfortable beds. The TV did not work as advertised, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy and missing parts necessary for proper air circulation. The bathroom was not very clean, adding to the overall discomfort of the stay. The reception area and the exterior of the lodge are also in poor condition, with visible signs of neglect. The poles for the Lapa are precariously held together by tie straps, which is quite concerning. The only positive aspect of my stay was the breakfast, which was decent. However, this alone does not compensate for the numerous issues encountered. I hope the management considers making the necessary improvements to enhance the guest experience.
