Honesty, Integrity, Customer Focused and an Old School Approach. These are to me the values which Best Drive in Bryanston provide to their clients. I recently had the fortunate experience to have numerous items on my vehicle corrected and Shaun Botha at BestDrive in Bryanston with his Old School approach is simply phenomenal. There are very few companies who still focus on doing something right the first time round and best Drive Bryanston is that specific place. In addition while you are there have a discussion with Shaun and his team on your vehicle shock absorbers as they only fit the absolute best Monroe Shock Absorbers which I recently fitted to my vehicle and they deliver on their promise. My advise, just trust in their Expertise as they are they are indeed the experts in their field of business. Below is the website for BestDrive and Monroe. https://www.fundityres.co.za/bestdrive-bryanston https://www.monroe.com/en-za You will not be disappointed at all and there is not a better Team. I am now a lifelong client of BestDrive Bryanston and Monroe Shock Absorbers.
JAC Motors Westrand – Roodepoort In February 2024 I bought a used Toyota Agyo 2012 model from JAC Motors in Roodepoort. Although the Sales process was pleasant and friendly. The quality of their inspection on a used vehicle lacks severely. Within the first week of purchase the following occurred: 1) Right Front Head Light • Water was seeping into the headlight itself. • This was eventually replaced. 2) Visible Water Marks on the Inside of the Vehicle Roof. • Water is seeping in at either the Third High Brake Light and/or the two rubber roof rail guards. 3) In March 2024 • I took the vehicle for a shock Test at Tyre Mart. • The Left front shoch was at 0.29% and the right front shock was at 0.30% • I replaced both the shocks at my own cost. • How did the vehicle pass the Road Worthy Test….? 4) Shocks • I then was asked by Tyre Mart to come back in 8/9 months time to redo the shock test. • I did this procedure and subsequently took the vehicle to Best Drive for a detailed inspection. • The back shocks completely collapsed. • Now my gripe with this is that how on earth did this vehicle pass the Road Worthy Test!!! 5) Stabilising Links • When we replaced the front shocks we also replaced the stabalising links on the left and right. • There simply was nothing left, based on how they should look like brand new. • Again at my cost. 6) Gear Box • In July 2024, the gearbox made tremendous noise and would not engage second gear. • I took the vehicle to Bosch Service Centre and we found that the seal around the gearbox was sealed with Silicone. • Again at my cost this was replaced and corrected. 7) Left Front CV Boot Leaking • The left front CV boot was leaking grease. • This was eventually replaced. • However this is the manner in which I received the vehicle. 8) Vehicle Main Key • On the date of purchase we was informed that an replacement key is being sourced the current key was broken. • This was eventually replaced. Now I accept that a vehicle in a used / secondhand condition will have some wear and tear. My complete disgust is that these are blatantly ignored, not even an oversight, these things are visible and simply just ignored. Now JAC I don’t know if you are aware that I am taking a massive financial commitment to the Bank to which I owe the debit of purchasing the vehicle. At the very least would you do your Job and ensure that certain blatantly visible damage and problems are fixed and not simply ignored. Please take my experience as a lesson for you not to purchase a used vehicle from JAC Roodepoort.
Where to begin...! Lets start with this AVOID BUYING AT ANY AND ALL COSTS. In February 2024 I purchased a 2012 Toyota Aygo 1.0 as my daily driver. I took the vehicle for a shock absorber test at Tyre Mart in Alens Nek at the end of March 2024. The test results was that both the front shocks needs to be replaced. And so the journey began, I searched for good quality shock absorbers and came across Monroe Shock Absorbers, who on their website claim "Choose Quality That Endures" and they have a 5 Year Warranty this is on the very 1st page as their website opens. Yeah RIGHT, what a total and utter nonsense. Well on the 09th of April 2024 the front shocks was replaced with Monroe Shocks and also their Top shock mountings, this all was done by a QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED Motor Vehicle Mechanic who does this as part of their daily routine (and yes the shocks are the right type of shock etc for the Toyota Aygo, we made sure of this) as it costs a SMALL Fortune! Guess what I took the same vehicle today to Tyre Mart at Alens Nek just to see if everything is still in good order and if I need to replace the Back shocks as this is my daily driver in which my Family drives in with me. To my absolute disgust the BRAND New shocks of Monroe which was installed professionally in April is sitting at 42% Left and 46% right. The two back shocks which in 12 YEARS have not been replaced as all is still at 56% Left and 58% Right. This is disgusting Monroe, there was nothing wrong with my hard earned money which cost my a small fortune when I purchased your shocks which you claim is "Choose Quality That Endures", but your product does not even last 8 Months!!!!!!!!! how on this green earth do you get 5 Years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLASE AVOID BUYING MONROE SHOCKS THEIR QUALITY IS USELESS THEY WILL HAPPILY TAKE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR EMPTY PROMISES WHICH IS NOT EVEN WORTH THE PAPER IT IS PRINTED ON!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY ADVOID AT ALL COST
