I would not recommend anyone to buy their product. Their after sale service is very poor, I wish I had read all the reviews prior to purchasing their product, if I had read I would have made a different choice seeing that most of their reviews are poor. Builders is also damaging their own brand by selling Ryobi brand. I purchased a lawn mower /trimmer for my brother from Builders Klerksdorp I think in 2023 if I not mistaken and the machine is still within warranty. Around Dec 2025 the machine ceased to work and my brother took the machine back to builders for repair and guess what the feedback from the supplier was that the machine was not well maintained nor serviced , my question to them was to they have a clear policy where it states after how many months is a client required to service? Machine original price was R2500 and now upon assessment they want us to pay R2300 , isn't this madness? It's the same as buying new machine. All electrical applies are usually clearly stated " do not temper" so now do they want their customer's to temper with the machine? I am very disappointed and builders is doing nothing to help, I believe they should also be fighting for their customers or rather stop selling this brand. If this is how the retailer and the supplier treats their customers then I do not see a reason why they have a warranty for their clients seeing that almost everyone is complaining about same thing. I am going to refer this to ombudsman , this people take their customers for granted.
Useless insurer ever in SA , please never use that insurance. Run away from them. I do not know why this company even exist it's useless. I took my car for service on the 19 July 2024 and requested major service and guess what my insurance only authorised minor service,meaning old plugs were still there , engine oil wasn't drained ,nothing was done now I had to pay another mechanic out of my pocket to service the car properly because the car heavily smoking but it was coming from service I hate innovation group with all my heart. I complained to them andinstead of taking responsibility andfix this issue they run around,they never want to pay but always collect money from people's acc, I hate this company useless ever
Excellent service from Akhona Gushu ,she's the best. I had a query which took forever I don't know why it wasn't resolved for the past two weeks but I received a call today from Akhona Gushu and guess what 😂 she resolved everything on one call and to add a spice she even managed to offer me premium discount on my policy,ohhh wow what more could a person ask for. I would definitely recommend Santam direct to anyone. I am super excited she's the best consultant ever.
I went to a laundry in Langa in church street , it was my first time there, upon being referred by a friend , I must say I have never been so impressed by local black owned business in this way. The staff is super friendly, the laugh a lot, smile, make you feel at home , though they speak Sotho 😂 but they also try to accommodate any client by mixing with the customer's language and it's very funny and felt welcomed. My clothes came back cleaner than ever before, smelling nice , nicely folded as if they looked new, I would recommend anyone to this laundry at any time. Lets support black businesses, thank you Langa Laundry you are the best .
This is the worst insurance ever, poor service at its best.I booked my car for major service,it was my first time to claim.Guess what a dealer only did minor service which I could have done myself bcs I mean minor service doesn't even come close to money that we pay there , the insurer only approved a service that cost R1500 . Anyway when I asked a dealer why they only did minor service they advised that my insurance only approved minor servive.When the car comes back it was worse than when I took it in ,the car was now smoking jerking, I then emailed and sent a complaint around end of Julyand till now, it hasn't been resolved,this is the worst insurance I've ever come acros.Useless company.They always collect their premiums on time but when it comes to resolving complaints they take entire month
