When we started planning our honeymoon to Maldives. I dealt with probably 8-10 travel agents, including Priority Escapes. But the agents would either not respond, or only respond to half my questions, and displayed no enthusiasm. Then I thought to give Priority Escapes another shot. A Travel (not agent), but Travel Angel called Virgil Standers responded to my request. And boy, does Virgil have so much passion for his job. He took me through ALL the options and discussed pro's and con's of each. If I popped him a question on mail, he was quick on the money to respond. Due to omicron causing Maldives to close their borders in Dec'21 - Virgil kept us in the loop if there were any changes. Unfortunately by our departure date, the borders were still closed and couldn't go on our honeymoon. Virgil reassured us that they will issue us a full refund, to book any other destination within 12 months. We selected April '22. Only to find out that the hotel we selected had a huge price increase vs Dec '21. Angel Virgil managed to arm-wrestle the hotel to give us the same rates when we booked in Dec '21 Thank You Virgil for really caring and making our booking of travel such a pleasant experience - I would highly recommend dealing with Virgil for any travel booking via Priority Escape
I am a frequent user of gotogate (under consideration after my recent experience) and have bought at least 5 tickets (2 international) in the last two months for myself and colleagues using your service. <br> The reason for my complaint is that my flight from Sao Paulo to Rio De Janeiro got changed by the airline from 18:40 to 18:15 on the 23rd, and i would not be able to make the changed flight due to my arrival in Sao Paulo at 17:00 from South Africa, which would not allow for enough time to clear customs and take the shuttle to the local departure terminal. We phoned the callcentre and the consultant said both on 8 and 9 December that they cannot find another flight in the same class for later on the same day and the change would cost R3900 + USD70, they also refused to refund me. I then went online and booked a new ticket for the 20:05 flight without a problem for R1800, which means that the service representative lied.<br> This has truly been a tedious process to try and get this matter resolved. Endless phone calls and dishonest feedback has just added more stress to what is supposed to be an easy flight booking via Gotogate.<br> <br> Booking number is: LMOXEZ
We booked an event a month ahead.4 venue visits with the manager&numerous phone calls to ensure that they are happy with our private event.<br> The owner greeted us &we explained to him that it is a bachelorette as his management never communicated anything with him. When his wife found out about our event she started screaming at some of our guests. When I confronted her about this she was rude, screamed& said that she will not speak to me as she was never made aware of our function, i left to calm down. I then later returned to see we could continue this discussion in a mature way, this time she shoved her finger into my face. I defended myself by removing her finger away from me &then she called her husband (the owner) to call the police, he then threatened me and said he will sue me if I report this to social media!This was the most unprofessional & rude behaviour I have ever experienced &this all because there is no communication between the manager &owner. The husband later apologised for his wife's behaviour but she refused to apologise. By the looks of other HelloPeter we weren't the 1st to experience this revolting treatment. DO NOT ruien your evening by going there!
