In 2022, I was searching for a Suzuki S.Presso and received incredible service from Jeanne-Marie de la Rey, who left a lasting impression with her kindness and professionalism. Fast forward to July 2024, when I fell in love with the Suzuki Fronx. Even though Jeanne-Marie had left Suzuki, I was thrilled to find out she’d returned. I reached out to her immediately and started the process of buying the Fronx. On 10 September 2024, I collected my new car, and the entire experience was seamless, thanks to Jeanne-Marie’s outstanding service. She goes above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience. Thank you, Jeanne-Marie!
I am absolutely appalled by the downhill route Takealot has taken up. Packages used to be handled with respect and properly wrapped, but lately I am flabbergasted at the absolute lack of respect they have for packages. I returned a fan THREE times only for the returned item to be in even worse condition than the one I returned. When I ordered books, the books were shoved into a box that was WAY too small (I even struggled to remove the victims from their prison). Their efforts in shoving the books into the confined space led to damages to the cover and a couple of the pages were rippled. I don't understand what is going on at Takealot, but I will no longer be using their services.
I cannot in good conscience give them a higher score than 2 - which is already gracious. It was EXTREMELY hard to communicate with staff. I tried to find out if I would be able to order books through them, but they clearly do not read your requests as they kept pointing to the books in the series that reflect on their website (even though I indicated their existence as well. I just ended up using a different site for those books, but the books I did order were poorly wrapped and able to move about in the books - damaging the sides.
