I hired a car from Avis at OR Tambo on the 11th Nov 2019. I flew from Cape Town to Johannesburg for a meeting in Pretoria. Collected the car at 9am and returned at 1pm. When I collected the car, I showed the Avis Rep that there were scratches on the rear bumper (top near boot, clearly caused from suitcases). I had a small laptop bag and never used the boot, was told not to worry as the report had been entered. I was subsequently charged R2587 for a few hours rental on a Toyota Corolla. Avis are not interested in all the evidence provided, Standard Bank (credit card dispute dept) are equally useless and allowed my card to be debited despite evidence furnished proving that I did not damage the car. I will never use Avis again and warn others to stay away from Avis.
Pathetic service. We applied for Fibre in Constantia in April 2019, still no fibre. Afrihost the ISP stated that they were informed by Openserve that fibre was already installed .....strange as we built the house 10yrs ago and would know if there was fibre. Afrihost and Openserve - a complete bunch of incompetents. Cannot speak to a human but can only fill in forms!! Frustrating
Panamera the appointed service agents of Atlantic Glass and Alumimium conducted a repair on a set of stack doors installed by AGA.
After replacing a dead bolt and spraying \Q20"on doors attempted to charge R3000. We settled on R1500. The doors \""repaired\"" are in a worse condition than before and cannot close.

We have approached AGA (the manufacturer and installer) and nothing has been done to rectify the problem for the past 6 months.

I caution anybody that wishes to use either Panamera or AGA in the future."""
We had extensive aluminium stack doors, windows, normal doors installed by AGA in 2010. We requested a number of times for these doors to be serviced in 2011, 2012, 2013. The services were initially prompt, but thereafter slowed down to ultimately in 2015. In 2015 one of our stack doors would not close as a dead bolt had broken. We contacted AGA and were then referred to Panamera (Denzel) as their appointed service agents. Panamera arrived, replaced a dead bolt then proceeded to spray lubricant on all hinges leaving drips or oil on door frames. After attempting to charge an exorbitant fee of R3000 for this minor repair, we settled on R1500. Needless to say the same door supposedly repaired is in a worse condition, rivots came apart and we now cannot close the door. We contacted AGA and after 6 weeks of request, Frikkie eventually came out to inspect. He informed my son that there was nothing wrong with the door and left. THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT CLOSE!!
