I have been trying to cancel my private bank card with FNB since 1 February 2025, and despite multiple follow-ups, I am still waiting for a resolution. I understand that processing may take some time, but after giving them a full week to respond, they failed to get back to me. Since then, I have had to constantly follow up because FNB is not doing what they said they would. Every time I contact them after their promised resolution date, I am met with the same useless response: “We have escalated the matter” For a bank that charges premium rates, this level of incompetence is absolutely disgraceful. The lack of efficiency is unacceptable as are the empty promises and delays. If I am struggling this much just to close an account, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for others dealing with even more complex issues. I would never recommend FNB to anyone. Their service is simply not worth the money, and the way they treat their customers is appalling. I am tired of chasing after them to do their job.
I purchased my Kia Picanto in May 2021 and have been waiting for the spare key since then. Despite reaching out continuously since the purchase and finally trying through customer service a month ago, I have not received any help or updates. This prolonged delay has been highly inconvenient. If you're looking for efficient customer service and timely resolutions, this is not the place to find it.
