I rented from Reddoor Properties in Risiville. My rent was always paid up to date, including until the end of January 2026. The landlord gave me notice to vacate so he could improve the property, and I moved out lawfully on 31 January 2026. The outgoing inspection confirmed the unit was left clean, with no damages beyond normal wear and tear and pre‑existing issues I had reported earlier. Despite this, Reddoor has ********ly tried to keep my deposit, claiming liability for February rent because I moved out earlier. A deposit is only meant to cover damages or rent arrears — neither app**** in my case. During the tenancy, the landlord even cut the electricity while a minor child was in the house, creating unsafe living conditions. Reddoor failed to protect my rights or act fairly, as required under the Property Practitioners Act. I have lodged a formal complaint with the PPRA and the Rental Housing Tribunal Gauteng. Tenants deserve transparency, safety, and compliance with the law
One start is overreacting!!!!!! It's suppose to be a -0. I have trying a week to cancel my contract sim.!! I did follow all instructions and I paid the settlement amount it reflected in their account last week already! I keep phoning going through the whole proses and then all of a sudden there is no service and the advisor cant hear me!! I have the name and the date and times to whom i spoke to! So i would formally lodge a-compliant against the advisors who is spiteful and doesn't to work! Its after all a telecommunications company so to get the call recordings wont be an issue. I am so fed up with MTN service !!!!!!!!!!! I just want to cancel the damh thing but we cant do it at a store oh no please phone 135!!!!!!!!!! Phoning 135 is useless rather let the people working in your store do the work! Because your service is worst than the store!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so disappointed in african bank!!!!! Their employees are lying and are really not woking!!!! And i have all the evidence to prove. I have phoned logged complaints at customer care and let me tell you they dont care!!! They dont even follow up or phone back. Its take two plus weeks to submit documents for a application!!!!! 130 + email i sent in two weeks with all the documents required. I was in the bank! The ladies submitted the sam documents twice already . I sat there while they did it so the Three river branch did they work but the documents department and head office is useless!!! They seem to fail to open a document and revise it! Thursday I caught head office lying!!!! I received a email they cant complete the application because they can confirm employment after they have my payslip , confirmation letter of employment and my desk is in the Hr and CEO office!!!!!!!! So african bank tells me they couldn't confirm employment because they couldn't phone my company!! Keep in mind i work for a hotel!!!!! I sat in the office with HR and die CEO who would gladly confirm but there was never a call through reception or even that our landline ringed!!!!!!! But the advisor tells me over the phone sorry i did.... but the advisor never kept track i am sitting in front of my CEO and HR .... african bank has so much *********** advisors!!!!!!!! Please take all of your business else where!!! I will gladly sent emails and screen recording etc to the Head of African Bank. Three Rivers Branch has two excellent ladies doing their best!!!!!! Head office can give them authorisation to work on application and sign it off. At three rivers they are working and doing their best and they are loosing customers because of head office!!!!
