Abrantes - Tiler in Johannesburg
My Experience with, Joao Gouveia Da Silva Abrantes (Tiler) His Cell - 0.8.2.4.1.6.8.1.6.4 I had appointed Joao to tile a small bathroom in my home and the process started off well but ended in a nightmare. His tiler could not get the tiles level or evenly spaced and caused more damage to my home than placing any tiles down. On the fifth day Joao Abrantes pitched up at my home very upset and told his tilers to pack up their tools and to leave with him leaving my bathroom and home a mess. He made the decision to leave my home unfinished and a mess after I had paid him in full, this was because I had questioned his tilers workmanship as it was very poor and slap dash. Joao Abrantes is a rude and unprofessional businessman that should not deal directly with people/customers. In short I would stay away from the thought of using his tilers for your home or construction projects. Very poor tiling.

Poor service
I received poor service from Del Forno Meyersdal on the 12th of October 2024. I had placed an order for Pizza and a Pasta to be delivered and I had waited for over an hour and when the delivery arrived the food was cold and hardened (cheese). I had called in and spoke to the manager and he had tried to attempt negotiations to "sweeten the deal" his words to be exact and I had rep**** I cannot accept cold food and the current state, I was then assured that the driver will take back the order and return with a new order freshly made. The order had returned however the Manager had personally delivered it to my home and this is were the problem for me accured. 1. The attitude and discussion from Donovan the manager was disrespectful and rude. 2. After I had paid for the order under the impression that it was freshly made as that is what I was told by Donovan (Manager) he tells me that he only reheated the meal. 3. The pizza and pasta now was left hard and dry and utterly terrible and disappointing. Would I recommend Del Forno Meyersdal after my experience, well No, I would not.

Swimming Pool and Construction
Manuel is the person who poses to be the person in charge (heads up) but actually its a person named Mike who is the knowledgeable one some what. Manual charged me R25 000.00 to marbelite my swimming pool and the workmanship was just a disaster. Two months later I a had to pay a professional pool company to redo and repair my swimming pool. I would not recommend Manuel or his partner Mike.
