Forced to Take Legal Action for Non-Delivered, Non-Refunded Order! Connected Devices (Pty) Ltd failed to deliver a Xiaomi 14T Import (R9,969) ordered on July 9, 2025. They informed me after purchase that it was unavailable and advised me to wait without a timeline. I cancelled on July 18, 2025, and provided banking details on July 21, 2025. Their policy guarantees a refund within 10 working days (by August 1, 2025), but as of August 10, 2025, no payment has been made. Their responses (July 29, August 4) were unhelpful, merely stating my request was “forwarded.” This violates their Terms and Conditions and Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, requiring a refund with interest. I sent a letter of demand on August 4, 2025, and, due to their refusal to pay, I’ve filed a summons, as legal action seems the only way to recover my funds. Beware of their poor service and non-compliance!
I have experienced the worst customer service from Tyme Bank. After multiple unanswered emails, their ***** department told me it will take 3-7 business days to address my case. During this time, they have prevented me from making necessary business payments. This lack of responsiveness and unreasonable resolution timelines are completely unacceptable. I strongly advise against banking with Tyme Bank. Your time and money deserve much better service.
