I ordered a product from this company, paid for it and despite getting regular updates, did not receive the product, and have not been refunded more than 20 days post cancellation. I dont think the intent of this business is to import that product, but rather just to earn interest on other people's money. I am not sure they will ever pay the refund.

I strongly advise against ordering from Connected Devices. On the 24th of March, I placed an order for a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G. For nearly three weeks, every update I received simply stated that their supplier had not confirmed stock. Realizing this was going nowhere, I officially cancelled my order on the 15th of April. According to Connected Devices' own official terms and conditions, refunds for unavailable items must be processed within 7 working days. It has now been well over 10 working days, and they are in direct breach of their policy. Every single time I follow up via email, I am fed the exact same excuse that my query has been forwarded to their finance team. I paid via PayFast EFT, and holding a customer's funds hostage while failing to fulfill an order is completely unacceptable business practice. They were quick to take my money but are dragging their feet to return it. I expect my full refund immediately.

Terrible service and company! Been buying phones from you for ten years but the last two have been horrible. Eventually requested a refund and got it last time due to your supplier delays while you kept my money. I placed an order for a tablet, and the help desk contacted me a week later, informing me that they had no stock available so I requested a refund, they responded and recommended an alternative tablet instead. The delivery time was something like 21 days, after I had waited more than a week to hear back from them, so I asked them to proceed with my refund. After a few more days, they said my refund would take 10 - 14 business days. It has now been 19 business days since they agreed to refund me, and this is getting a little ridiculous, given that I placed the order on September 27th. And I haven't heard anything since October 14th.

Don't bother ordering from this company, and if you do just read through the reviews from the past year on here and other platforms like Google Maps and Facebook to know the battle you'll be getting in for. For those that did not receive their refund after the claimed 10 working days I'd suggest getting in touch with a lawyer to recover your money. I'd also suggest opening a complaint with the NCC (can be done online) as they are violating the Consumer Protection Act. Once the NCC catches onto them they can be fined for any violations.

I phoned their direct number, but the finance manager Tohriq Parker does not take phone calls, neither can the receptionist supply me with his direct number. Do not order from Connected Devices Sandton you will not receive your order nor a refund.
