This business takes on jobs beyond their capabilities. They showed up 2-3 days of the week, had to redo work multiple times, **** about ordering stock for our landscaping project. We parted ways with Johan after we realised he talked a big game but only took on our project to fund his other projects. We both agreed to a refund for work not completed, we even suggested a figure that was below what was actually owed. Johan agreed to give us back that money, after 2 long years of drips and drabs and loooong stories from Johan I have had enough of his lies. He has not completely refunded us, he never will. Avoid this company at all costs!
Durbanville Landscaping did significant work in our backyard. Within 2 months of completing the work we noticed paving sagging by our pool (by the new retaining wall) and by the new retaining wall next to our neighbour the soil was washing away. We contacted Eugene and he said it must be due to excess water from our neigbours (both behind us and next to us). He agreed to come look. This happened multiple time, promises to visit to no avail. Durbanville Landscaping lied repeatedly about coming to check, never showed, no offer zero guarentee on work done and suggest he can fix his work if insurance is involved. Avoid if you value your money, while it appears they know what they are doing, multiple contractors have come (including our insurance) and have all said there were very obvious mistakes made by Durbanville landscaping. I can only assume Eugene knows he is taking shortcuts since he never came to even check the damage (and lied multiple times about visiting), he doesn't back his own work and you can't believe his word.
Ordered on 278 November, got a delivery PROMISE or max 10 days, 15 days later I still haven't heard anything. I have tried multiple times to contact them, phone never is answered and email you only get an auto response, facebook also gets you nowhere. I called store customer care and it goes to GAME, the poor lady on that side said she will try her best to help, but since another store had to help I have no confidence. What ****es me off more is the items I bought are on sale again, they know they can't meet customer expectation yet they continue to take money and not deliver
I have visited 5 stores this week, phoned your call centre multiple times, my LTE smarthome sim still doesn't work. Your call centre staff and store staff don't know how your product works, all tell me it works yet when we actually test it it doesn't to their surprise. I did find 1 helpful staff member, he was the technician at your Canal Walk branch. He confirmed what I had told all your other staff, my sim does have the internet apn service loaded, he lodged a query with your networking team and said it takes at most 24 hours. 48 hours later it still hasn't been done. A call to your call centre assures me everything is working, I went through all the usual nonsense of resetting and reinserting the sim etc with them to the point where they gave up. I have tried calling your Canal Walk branch, but as with every single branch, it goes to voicemail everytime. Please have someone who actually understands your systems contact me as it is now 7 days and I can't speak to another under trained staff memeber.
