Lies, incompetence, regret
This business takes on jobs beyond their capabilities. They showed up 2-3 days of the week, had to redo work multiple times, **** about ordering stock for our landscaping project. We parted ways with Johan after we realised he talked a big game but only took on our project to fund his other projects. We both agreed to a refund for work not completed, we even suggested a figure that was below what was actually owed. Johan agreed to give us back that money, after 2 long years of drips and drabs and loooong stories from Johan I have had enough of his lies. He has not completely refunded us, he never will. Avoid this company at all costs!

Stay away from this company! Taking this con artist to court.
This is my second review about this sole proprietor. I put all the details in the first review and he had it removed because I used his company and personal full names. I will keep posting though to warn everyone about this con artist, and I am not alone, he has done to this many, many people. Do not do business with Johan from Eden Outside, he promises you the best results, takes your money, doesn't finish the job he quotes on and leaves you with a mess and in fact damages. Total ripoff, doesn't pitch when he says he will, workmanship is of a poor standard, quotes on one thing, delivers something totally different, his products he supplies are all half dead when they arrive, stay away. Taking the matter to court as we speak, I will post further about the outcome, watch this space....

Bank roller, rip off. Eden Outside Johan Rossouw, avoid!!!
Be warned, do not do business with Johan Rossouw from Eden Outside, I repeat, do not do business with him. He took R25k of my money to landscape my garden and delivered 30% of what he quoted on, if that. Very impressive pitch, decent quote, comes across sweet and caring, but delivers less than 1/2 a job. I am also taking the matter to the clerk of the court, avoid him so you don't have to experience what I have. He seems to be taking money from Peter to finish the job at Paul, and to fund his lifestyle. Then holds you to ransom for more money to finish the job he originally quoted on. And, I am not the only one he has scammed, there are many of us gathering together to expose him, check out facebook and other posts online. Cape Town is a village and people are getting sick and tired of his behaviour.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this guy. He is in financial distress and ripping people off with work he never does. Johan Rossouw. I've paid a R4000 deposit and still waiting for my money a month after he promised to landscape my garden.

Incomplete job, poor quality service, dishonest.
I originally contacted Johan for a quote for landscaping, he then told me that he does paving too. I got him to pave the back of my house as well as a portion of my garden. Literally the day after it was completed the grouting started washing away. Johan came back to check and told me he had tried a new grouting and he mixed it on incorrectly. He told me he would dig up all that grouting and do it properly. He then dropped one guy back off at my house who dug up some of the old grouting and started to redo it. After it rained the grouting started chipping and coming out again. I swept up a carrier bag full of chipped pieces and asked Johan to come back again. Johan met with my husband and I again after that and said he has now consulted with a guy who has done paving for years and he realizes where his error was and he will fix it. He then proceeded to once again drop off one guy at my house who dug up some areas and attempted to fix the grouting. After a third failed attempt (and being paid by myself in full because I had believed the job was completed the first time) Johan left my gate key on top of my garden wall (even though he had always left it in my mailbox) and just didn't come back. I then had to get a registered company to come and fix the grouting at my own expense. Johan said he would pay half of that because he refuses to pay for someone else's profit. He never paid anything.
