On the 21st July 2025 I ordered on Makro online for the amount of R5651. On their online site it shows that I must proceed to checkout whereas on my account the amount of R5651 was debited on my bank account on the 21st July 2025. Up until today I have not received what I've ordered and there was no reversal of R5651 back to my account. On the 21st July 2025 I even went to Makro at Amanzimtoti to forward my query and the lady supervisor said she will investigate. I also forwarded an email and their email reference number number for this matter was: 172ER. Up till today funds were debited on my account but NO goods received and also no refund from Makro up till today the 29th August 2025.
I bought home improvements in Ismails Tiles & Home Centre at Arbour Crossing Amanzimtoti and I was given a discount, ref number to pay via EFT in which at the end of all the process I was then told that the discount I was given was not applicable. When I requested a detailed slip I only found out that some of the items that were displayed as on special were not on special I was charged another price amount on them. My experience with them I can say their conduct was luring customers to buy and on their part they are *****es. I've visited their shop numerous times trying to resolve this and to my dissapointment whilst I'm in person (face to face) they will promise to resolve and as soon as I leave their shop nothing will be resolved. They don't make follow-up since they also have my cellphone number to call me on the outcome AND on my return we will be back on square one arguing about the same thing - nothing would be resolved.
