We are so disappointed with Ooba. We had to go almost a week without water, the geyser burst. This happend around 8 Tuesday morning(I heard water running) 8 July 2025. I phoned Ooba to do the claim, not long someone phoned me and we arranged for 1:30... there is no communication I had to phone the people multiple times to find out when they are coming out to my property, she only phoned once and that was after I did the claim with Ooba. When they arrived eventually 6 O' clock at night I was told they are not fixing the geyser only doing an assessment and take note I'm in Meyerton and they are from Midrand. The next morning I , once again had to phone because I didn't hear anything back, to find out about the claim. They send me a picture of the claim number and the plumbers that will be coming out. Also didn't get a phone call for any arrangements later that day I had to phone the plumbers as well,where I was told they are busy and can only come at 8 on Friday morning 11 July 2025,note they are from Edenvale and I'm in Meyerton and they were half an hour late. I did phone Ooba as well but no help the lady just said they will phone again to check the progress... I'm still waiting for the call. I can't understand why I the client should phone every one if it is the insurance that should communicate with all the relevant parties. We had claims a few years back without any problems we were notified with sms and email, where as this time we didn't receive an sms or email. The relevant parties phoned us we never had to phone to find out when they are coming and plumbers was used that was closer to us and we never waited so long the problem was fix the same day or very early the next morning. I feel it is unacceptable to be without water for so long, in the winter and school holidays. Water is a basic need or did I mis something?! I will neve again recommend Ooba to anyone.
First Class Caregiving is the best. I enjoyed every moment of learning and Karin is a great person and teacher. I truely learn alot from her. I can recommend First Class Caregiving for anyone that has the passion
The elderly are not being treated properly and they are unhappy. There is not proper equipment to use for all the patients.
