I booked tickets for my family to the Keyshia Cole concert for the 28th of September which was being held in Sun City on my birthday the 28th of September. I booked accommodation at Sundown Country Estate close to Sun City so we could experience something different since we have all stayed at Sun City before. Well to cut a long story short Keyshia Cole concert was cancelled in Sun City for that specific date and postpond for a different date and different location. I got a full refund on the tickets due to the circumstances however the accommodation is giving me such a hard time. Believe me when I say Bookings.com is outstanding and so professional they are more than willing to give me a full refund. The resort on the other hand namely Christo is refusing to give the full refund. Bookings.com has sent the him numerous e-mails and called them on more than 4 occasions however they keep making excuses. I am getting tired of my query being pushed from reservations department to accounts department to who the hell knows where next. On the 10/10/2024 I finally got hold of Christo Reyneke the reservations manager (yes the same one that is avoiding my calls and messages) He advised me that he will not be able to refund me in full due to Bookings.com invoicing them R1300 commission. I then contacted Bookings.com and they advised me that this is not so and that all they are awaiting is a e-mail from Sundown Estate advising to issue a full refund which they are more than willing to do immediately. My question is...….why all the lies and why is this becoming such a drawn out process. This is something that can be resolved in 1 e-mail but I am having to everyday on the line for an hour at a time singing the same song. I beg that someone assist with the owner of this resorts details as his staff is absolutely ***********.
This worst decision I ever made was going with Car track. You cannot resolve a query in 1 call, you are transferred to a different department for everything. The consultants have the tendency of putting you on hold for long periods of time and eventually dropping your call or after a lengthy call and they still can't resolve your problem they put you back into a call queue to start all over again. Managers or supervisors are always in meetings are too busy to attend to your when you ask for one. When requesting a call back from one you never get that. Worst move ever.....
