Got an sms that a levy would be attached to my debit order this month. It was roughly R80 so it wasn't an issue. Got to gym today and I'm not allowed to enter, they telling me the R80 didn't go off with my debit, lady says maybe I didn't have enough funds? I tell her that there is enough and I offer to pay it at the reception. I'm told I will be charged an additional R60 late payment fee if I pay manually, but if I do am eft I can just pay an additional R30. Alternatively I can wait for the debit to go off again but IL be denied access. I ask to see the manager, no one comes. Each member coming after me trying to enter is blocked and is told the same thing. I tell the admin staff surely this is not our problem, seems like Zone made an error somewhere processing the additional levy. I'm told probably but I cannot enter until I pay the levy and late payment. This is clearly a system fault on there side but they expecting the client pay for there mistake.
Submitted my claim on the 5 September. Been trying to contact them all week via whatsapp, email and land line. Land line terminates the call while you wait and they do not respond to the other forms of communication. Extremely unprofessional and scary when you cant get updates or communicate from a company that is dealing with you retirement funds. I wanted to go to their offices but i read a reveiw that security does not allow you in with out an appointment..but there is no way to get through to them.
