My parents, both octogenarians, live in Parys, and because of the nature of their medical aid, can't get their monthly medication from the local pharmacies, but are dependent on Clicks Pharmacy in Mooi Rivier Mall in Potchefstroom, 45 km away. My mom's 6-month script for her diabetic medication was faxed to them on the 4th of February and still no medication has been delivered up until today, the 13th of February. After several calls and talking to various people my dad was told they are waiting for the blood sugar monitor from the distributors. This is totally unacceptable as delivery of diabetic medication can NEVER be made dependent on another prescribed item that is still outstanding! By incurring extra costs which are not covered by the medical aid my parents had to try and secure a week's provision of my mom's diabetic tablets while waiting for Clicks Pharmacy to deliver her medication in Parys. I tried to submit a complaint on the Clicks website today, but in vain as a message in red told me 'Something went wrong...'. I request Clicks Pharmacy in Potchefstroom to forward a formal apology to both my parents for this total unprofessional dealings with my mom's medication. This is SO unacceptable!!!

I booked a table for 6 people at O's Restaurant on the 1st of January 2017 to celebrate both New Year and my Dad's upcoming 80th birthday because I returned back to my home in Cape Town on the 4th of January. What should've been a nice lunch turned out to be such a let-down! In order to keep things going we ordered our main meal when the starters were served. However, we had to wait for more than an hour for our main meal to be served with flimsy excuses coming forthe from the waitress Madelein. We were served with strawberry liquer unexpectedly and without us ordering any alcohol. This in itself was very unprofessional and served as a pacifier and as a result of the one owner being at the bar close to out table (#20) overhearing my negative remarks about the bad service. Under normal circumstances I would've left the restaurant, but I did not want to upset my elderly parents and other family that accompanied me. Eventually, when our food was served, nobody had an apetite anymore and we left the restaurant with all our food in doggy bags. I did write an e-mail addressed to both owners at e-mail address ********** which I found on the restaurant's website, complaining about the service and the serving of unsolicited alcohol Sunday evening the 1st of January at 20:37, but to date I have had no response whatsoever. Although the food served was good quality, the service was horrible and O's Restaurant in Parys will definitely not see us again!
