I am extremely disappointed with Mr Price Home. I placed an order at the beginning of February, and despite being told it was due over a week ago, I still have not received it. Communication from customer service has been inconsistent and unhelpful. I was initially told my order would arrive “the next day,” by Thembeka, which did not happen. Since then, I’ve only been told to wait while they contact the courier (a process that has now taken several days with no feedback). My emails have been ignored, and during WhatsApp chat, a consultant (Nivashni) abruptly ended the chat on me, which is completely unacceptable. And I truly believe Nivashni needs to be held accountable for this. For a company of this size, I expected far better service. Instead, I’ve experienced delays, poor communication, and no clear resolution, and not even the option of a refund, a company should surely in good faith offer a cancellation and refund when a order has been delayed long past the promised due date, which I asked for but was ignored. In contrast, companies like Decofurn provide far better delivery reliability and customer service. Very disappointing experience which has lead me to the conclusion that I will not be a customer of Mr Price again.
I am extremely disappointed in Mr Price Home. A company you expect to trust yet I have received awful service and a very delayed order. At first I was told I would get it the next day (many days ago) and now I'm just being told to wait till they can talk to a courier, and my emails are being ignored, AND instead of being helpful they hung up on me, which is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable from Nivashni. How long does it take to talk to a courier? Its been several days??? Mr Price Home is such a big company, one you really assume you can trust for quality, yet I've received unacceptable mediocre customer service, my emails have been ignored, my order still hasn't arrived, and they don't even offer a refund. Safe to say Mr Price has lost a customer for good. Companies like Decofurn have a excellent, MUCH better standard for their deliveries and their customer service, and would rather offer a refund than make a customer wait weeks for an order.
I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience has left me completely disheartened. I’m 21 year old, living alone in Johannesburg with no family support nearby. I rely entirely on my car to get around, and when it was booked into Renew-It Randburg through my insurer (Santam), I was told the repairs would take 8 working days. I planned my transport, work schedule, and an important personal visit around that quote. It’s now going onto the third week, and my car has been postponed again — with no clear explanation, no accountability, and no sincere communication from the team. Delays have not even been communicated with me so I'm left assuming the reason is their poor business practice. Ilhaam, the manager, promised me the vehicle was being prioritized and that I’d be kept updated. None of that happened. I had to follow up myself almost every time, and when I did, I was met with vague excuses or no reply at all. At one point, I even received a 2-second call that ended before I could answer — it felt like an attempt to mark me as “called” without actually talking to me. The worst part? I’ve been spending an insane amount of money on Ubers just to get through my day — often paying over R200–R300 per day just to do what I could’ve done in my own car. It’s taken a serious toll on me financially, especially as a young adult trying to stay afloat alone in the city. This has been more than just a delay. It’s been a complete failure of service, communication, and care. I trusted Renew-It Randburg because my insurer sent me there, and instead I’ve been met with broken promises, unnecessary costs, and total disregard for how this impacts my life. I wouldn’t recommend this panel shop to anyone — especially if your time, money, or mental health matters to you. This has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve ever had.
Expect constant postponements and empty promises. My vehicle was quoted 8 days, I made arrangements to accommodate that time, but its now going onto the 3rd week and my delivery date is being postponed again. Ilhaam, the manager made empty promises about putting me in the priority list and keeping me updated which she disappointingly didn't follow through on. My insurance sent me to Renew-It randburg so i expected a decent business with decent values and communication but its just been disappointment after disappointment. No delays were communicated to me so I can't even understand why its been postponed over and over. I've now been relying on ubers which has cost me a fortune and they still have postponed the date another week. Just honestly so disappointed and disgusted.
Complete ****mers do not use this. They will disguise a one time payment to buy your resume and then automatically subscribe you to a subscription which costs much much more. They are ****mers and will refuse to help or give a refund as they claim it was in the terms and conditions regardless of the fact they did not get your explicit consent. Please save yourself the trouble and use a reputable business instead of these heartless ****mers.
