I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a series of issues I have encountered with your service, particularly concerning an incorrect installation charge and the lack of follow-up on my case. On [insert date], I spoke with one of your agents to request a WiFi router. I specifically told the agent that I did not require any installation, as I already had everything set up. I only needed a router migration. However, the agent proceeded without my consent and assumed that an installation was required. I was informed that I would only be charged the delivery fee for the router. A few days later, I received an SMS stating that Afrihost had deducted R1700 from my bank account. I immediately contacted your customer service team to inquire about this, and I was told that an investigation would be conducted, and I would be contacted later that day. After waiting, I called back and was told that there was an issue, and that a request would be sent to the finance department. The following day, I was asked to send photos of the box installed at my house, which I provided. Then, I was asked for further photos of the boxes inside my house, which I also sent. Despite my cooperation, I was told that the matter would be escalated to finance again, and that I would be contacted with an update. Unfortunately, no one reached out to me. When I followed up, I was told that I could choose to have the amount either credited or debited back into my account. I specifically requested that the money be refunded directly to my account. Today, I received an email stating that a credit would be app**** instead, even though I had clearly stated my preference. I find this situation deeply frustrating. Not only did your team act without confirming my wishes, but they also failed to follow through with the necessary actions, rejecting my requests and instead proceeding as they saw fit. This lack of communication and disregard for my preferences is unacceptable, and it has caused significant inconvenience. I kindly request that the R1700 be refunded to my account immediately, as per my original request. I would also appreciate a full explanation of how this situation occurred and the steps that will be taken to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. i have never struggled so much in my life with a medical aid as i do with Bonita's i pay my monthly bill every month and i need to pay all my bills out of my own pocket they keep on rejecting everything.
