Recently moved our home contents with Gigi’s. The communication from Tania was excellent, always keeping me updated with dates and very specific times. This precise timing and communication is a rare find in today’s world (see my other review of a competitor moving company). The moving team arrived in the time slot allocated to me, they were very friendly, efficient and treated our furniture with care. 10/10 would highly recommend and use Gigi’s in the future.

The communication from the sales team was absolutely horrible. We were given a date range between 30/31 December and never an exact date. When we called to confirm on the 27th of December we were told by a manager that our move is only scheduled for the 5th of January?!? My fiancé then asked was the communication as a result of an error on their side which they said yes it was. We were however still responsible for their error. This was unacceptable as my fiancé needed to start work already on the 2nd of Jan and the rental agreement finished on the 31st of December. When we tried to get back to the original agreed dates the manager Michael all but threatened my fiancé telling her they can come the 30th of December but our furniture will be damaged. I understand that an intermediate storage will obviously increase the likely hood of damage but the condescending manner in which Michael informed by fiancé was unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this moving company based on the sales and support. The actual team doing the moving however was great.
