So be us ei m second named on this policy hollard complained to hello Peter and had it removed. We here goes. My partner and I are on this policy. Niall Andrews and Reena Gunga Rajh. Their short term insurances are the worst for claims. Like I said before we waited for a tyre change for 3 weeks. They also moved our car from where we sent a quote from. A preferred BMW dealer in Ballito. They moved it to Umhlanga SMG fix shop which is away from the main BMW branch. The assessor accepted the quote from Ballito. Asked for information. Then 6 days into assessment btw for. Rim and 2 tyres work. Took them six days to ask for further info from Ballito branch Then they said they have to pay cash if we do 5e work there. Mind you in 3 years we never had one claim. Then if they pay they have to take the car to umhlanga bmw. Not telling us it’s a different address than SMG. Neither did the assessor contact us once to advise reasons either. They first caused the delay. Then they added to the problems we had. When the job was finished they did one tyre and rim. Left us with a tyre not roadworthy. Wood not do the work on it. This is a policy paid for 3 years mind you. Not one claim. Then when the work was done the assessor didn’t even call us. We were trying to find our car from 9am. From when they said the work was complete and arranging delivery back to Ballito. However that never happened. And at 3 pm we called and finally took us half an hour to trace where the car was being held. Then it was not released etc. the manager had to get involved to release the car. They then sent the car with all items worth R6000 removed from the car. So in all Hollard can try and remove my remarks here ; I will keep writing these things that happened. And I will next go onto social media to write this story. If Hollard wants to sort this ; they know who it is. So they should contact us directly to get a clear story and not cover their back by saying we are not the client. As Mr Andrews and I are on the very policy. I have every right to write my review. You did not put the client first. You put your company first and to save money. But not our lives. You returned a car with one bad wheel because you saving money. If an accident accrues it will be your fault. You and Hereford Group handled h This badly. It is going through the insurance ombudsman whether you like it or not. And I advise people if claims like this take the wrong turn go immediately to the ombudsman. Bot the underwriter Hollard and Hereford Group did not do the best thing for the client. But everything to save themselves money and power to lie to people. There is so much more to this claim that’s not here. But a detailed report is being compiled by me And Mr Andrews for further investigation. Thank you
This is the worst experience for a short term service i ever had. The admin on this is pathethic. I dont even think the person sent through the clim form with the proof of damage Worse the broker himself never ever spoke to us about the policy in 3 years. Neither do they do statistics and concerns on the underwriting companies they use. In this case Hollard. So when they actually have a case to deal with that is simple they muck it up. Seriously they are *********** to do the best for the client. They service their underwriter who pays them a commission Whats worse the delay they caused is big problem. A two hour job and a assessment that can take one day took 3 weeks in all Gor tyre and rim. 😡
We have a claim going on now for 3 weeks with Hollard. Its simple claim for tyres and rim. It took the assessor 7 working days to assess apparently. And we sent the form with the required quote from a accredited BMW dealership with photos and videos. However the assessor takes 6 working days to tell us that they need to move the car to their preferred BMW dealer to assess the damage. Now 6 days ago he could have said move th ecard and by this 6 th day the simple work would have been completed. Why accept the quote and then so late say move the car. Next they came up with that Ballito where we had the car can do the work but they have to pay cash Which seems a problem for Hollard. Si they rather put you the client in wait and pain for their company benefit. Besides all this we are waiting on 2 tyres to be fit a rim and wheel alignment. 3 weeks on. With no courtesy car. Now is this how Hollard works. No claims in 3 years They are happy to pay the broker the money to help them as well instead of putting you the client first. Happy to incur further costs to move your car from dealership to another of the same company Even though this dealer had all the parts in house to complete a job that would have taken two hours. Now still 3 weeks later am waiting for my car to be returned Hereford the broker is also to blame in this. As the client never featured for them. It was that they get comms from the underwriting company Hollard. So they would do what Hollard says. Yet it makes no sense to put the client in such a long waiting period. This car web to the umhlanga BMW to get assessed again. No different from what Ballito gave Then parts was ordered after the authorised the claim 12 days later and which ballito already had the parts the day we got the quote. Then now days later its still not done and no phone call from broker or insurer or the dealership on what they are doing We even called the dealership and Kevin has not called us back 24 hours later. We emailed Hereford and they not responded either.. I want to sue them all this time wasted when i could not do my business without my car. And even worse i am injured and mobility is an issue. So much pains they causing me personally. So my suggestion dont use Hollard. As i used other insurers with other vehicles i had. None ever did this to us. Their time to respond assess and complete the job was so fast. There are far better insurers out there.
