on 2 Jan 2024 i went to buy chicken at one of the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets in Potchefstroom, North West and was encouraged to use their self service machines. i swipped my fnb card and the machine did not process my order and i only learnt of their IT problem with the system after using the second machine and having swipped my card again without having my order registering to the kitchen staff. I demanded my money back and was instead told that the money would be reversed before the end of the evening, which of course was a LIE. i still don't have the money back and the pathetic KFC told me that even the speedpoints at the till points were not working!!! The staff told us that the money always reflects back on the account within a short space of time and that indicated that the problem with the system is not a new thing, they are used to their systems malfunctioning and only having the technician coming the next day when they are called. we were told we had to queu up behind the cars that were ordering from the drive through, although we had been there longer than them due to the malfunctioning systems with no technician in sight. how can a company like KFC not have an IT specialist on call when they need them???? No notice was displayed on the machines to warn the other customers who were still attempting to order from the machines, which i found really *********** and bad for business as people should not waist their time placing orders and having their money go off their bank accounts, when their orders will never reach their kitchen. I am disappointed with the way KFC handled the case and for not refunding my money on the two transactions which i was promised would be reversed in a short time. KFC, please reverse my money as i need to spend it elsewhere, and please train your staff!!!!
I had a rental contract with the above mentioned company(Varsity Rentals, Potchefstroom, North West) which ended at the end of October 2023. To this day i do not hear anything regarding my deposit. The agency has not done any inspection, according to one of their employees. from there i was referred to a finance person who still has not responded to my watsapp messages. The manager of the company is Jaco and i have previously been assisted by him on a different rental agreement and things were done professionally then. I am disappointed by their treatment and would like to get my R4000.00 deposit for the Langs Die Randjie flat number 7 where i used to rent. Thank you
