Don't waste your money on this ****. So disappointed and I trusted them due to their partnership with FNB. I bought perfumes as Christmas gifts, chose the collection from pargo point delivery option, days later I received a call asking me for my address because they couldn't view on the system which pargo point I had selected I told them the pargo location and I was told they can no longer do a pargo collection then though inconvenient, I gave my work address and emphasized that that was my last week at work and even in the area as I had to travel home for Christmas so my parcel needs to arrive by Friday the 19th of December 2025. I was assured that it would. Then a day or two later (Thursday 18 December) I get a call from ARC asking me if I was contacted regarding my address and I was confused as I believed that my parcel was already dispatched. I again emphasized that this parcel needs to get to me by Friday 19 December. The guy on the line assured me that it will and that it was being dispatched as we spoke. I waited the whole day at work the next day and the parcel did not arrive, I called ARC to ask about this and was told that the status on their system still said "processing" and this annoyed me because it meant I was **** to in the previous conversations. I then explained to the new agent that I can't receive this parcel because that Friday was my last day in the area and we don't have addresses where I am going. I was told that they were going to refund me. Then the following week I received a message saying that the parcel is out for delivery when I had already left the area as I had told the agents. I was so confused by this incompetence but decided to change the delivery date to 5 Jan 2026 when I am back, and this was because I had now read the appalling reviews about ARC Store and how they don't process refunds. So now it's the 5th of Jan and I still don't have my parcel because they have hired a ******* courier company (Dawn Wing/ DPD Laser) which makes you wait on the line then drops your call when you are first in the queue! Save yourself a headache and avoid ARC Store online! And the perfumes were pricey!
Bought a new phone online on the 23rd of January and was delivered on the 7th of February. I also paid for Samsung care plus for 3 years when I bought the phone. My phone has not been registered with Samsung care plus and I have contacted both Samsung SA and IUA who administers the Samsung care plus and have not received any help or resolution. The last time iua responded to my emails they told me that they were still looking into the matter. It's been weeks and nearing the end of the limited time where the phone can be registered with Samsung care plus (3 days left) and nobody has gotten back to me despite me emailing asking for feedback. At this point I would like to get back the money I paid for the Samsung Care Plus (R2500) when I bought the phone online since it's clear that I am not getting the service. This has really been a disappointing experience, and I for some reason expected better from Samsung South Africa.
