Ordered a router through MTN order no 1100709715 with DSV as the delivery company failed fingerprint authentication despite there being no legislative need for this so I wonder what they use this information for, I will have to raise it with the relevant authorities perhaps the information regulator. Regardless of that the MTN website says that ID and proof of residence can be used as an alternative but DSV does not take it, at least their drivers do not even though the company that contracted them (MTN) says it can be provided as an alternative. This shows that this company is either not informing their drivers of this or the drivers are not professional in their work. What made this worse is that I am trying to get this internet to an elderly person so they are not helping at all by making things more difficult for no reason, no reason at all. Delivery was rescheduled but they ended up moving out the date again with no resolution to my issue, as I write this, still without the router and sim that was paid for. Their call centre agents are of no help, not willing to be helpful at all and do not offer solutions to these issues, I get redirected multiple times despite calling the right centre. By far one of the worst interactions with a delivery company in my adult life. DSV probably means Detoured, Stalled, Vexed which summaries my experience.
Great communication and patience from Dimakatso Best experience I have had with an insurer in a while.
