I have to share the slow and poor service received at this establishment last night. The waiter couldn’t care about the time our food took to come. We ordered the baby chicken and a starter livers to which we mentioned that we were sharing. He brings our meals and never returns. I had to eat off the platter of the baby chicken as i was not able to get the attention of other staff member. Another Manageress stands at the entrance of the restaurant bobbing her head to the music as opposed to walking to each table attending to customers. I eventually get her attention and I get a plate but by that time the food is cold and the feeling of being spoilt is lost as that’s why we go to a restaurant so there is someone to be at your service. So our waiter eventually surfaces after the Manageress had taken over this guys duties. He surfaces not with the bill as that was given to us by the Manageress but he arrives with the credit card machine. I really did not want to tip him but still did so. The best part is he enters an amount of more than R30 of the amount that included the bill. What a f@&*n thief! Have no intention of returning. He must leave that establishment.. rather do something else but NOT hospitality.
I called Vodacom to cancel my contract on the 30th December 2018. When I was asked why I wanted to cancel, I informed the agent of a deal that I was being offered by another provider. The agent asked me to hold on for a minute then proceeded to offer a deal match to which I requested that the agent call me back after an hour. Since I hadn't heard from the agent that day , I called back on the 31st December so I can take the deal that was offered me to. The agent who answered the call was rude and obnoxious when i explained the deal that was offered by the agent the day before. Before I could say anything else, he converted my number to prepaid and there I was left no more on contract with no way of contacting the call centre to re-instate my contract. A supervisor from the prepaid customer service centre assisted me and tried to get my contract re-instated and I was promised it would be done the same day. I knew that due to it being New Year's Eve it was not going to happen. I received a call that afternoon by someone else promising it was going to be re-instated to which I knew was never going to be the case. I received a call on the 2nd January saying that it would be re-instated 48 hours from the 2nd January. Today is nearly 3 weeks later and still nothing. I have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for more than 10 years and I have been treated in the most disgusting manner possible. Their lack of customer service is appalling and the mannerism of the agent is worse. He behaved as though he was doing me a favour. Go back and listen to the calls and look at my spend to you over the decade. Bet they won't call to find out what happened. Good bye Vodacom! Worst Provider in SA!!!
