This dealership sells cars that have been in accidents and does not disclose it to buyers. I did a background check on a vehicle, and the kilometers Toyota confirmed for the VIN number do not match the reading shown by the dealer. When I raised the issue, the lady I spoke to, Gugu, simply said “that’s how they got the car.” Their prices might seem cheap, but it’s because the vehicles have been crashed and repaired. The listings on Cars.co.za are also not accurate to the actual cars they’re selling. Be very careful — do your own checks before trusting anything they post.
I’ve had a really bad experience lately. I bought perfume on sale, but the bottles arrived damaged and scratched. They refused to exchange or refund my purchase, saying it was normal for sale items to be scratched and have torn packaging. After speaking with a manager and pointing out that the terms and conditions state I have the right to return items, I eventually received a voucher after a lot of time and effort. I then bought new items, which arrived perfectly and on time. However, with my new order placed five days ago, I received no update. When I emailed for an update, they told me the delay was due to stock-taking and that my order still hadn't been packed. After explaining that it's a gift I need by Friday and referring to their shipping policy, which promises delivery within 5 working days, they said they’d dispatch my order today and notify the couriers. Hours later, I received a call saying the perfumes I ordered are out of stock and would be for a long time. I asked for clarification on which perfumes are out of stock and requested the contact details for the head department to file a formal complaint, but I received no contact information, just an update on the out-of-stock items. Seconds later, another email came saying they had restocked, contradicting their earlier statement that the items wouldn't be available for a long time. The aftercare has been disorganized, confusing, and misleading, and I feel like I was **** to about the stock situation. If I hadn’t emailed to ask for an update, my order would have just been left without any resolution. I don’t understand why my order wasn’t handled more professionally.
