Received a call from a very arrogant salesman. Asking (telling) me almost immediately they will come and see me tomorrow. First called me, Mr Outsurance. Slip of the tongue? Or is this where they got my info from?
Telkom is *******ly charging for: Content Services without my approval or consent. Firstly it took me 40 minutes for telkom to admit that these services that I have "subscribed too", are being deducted from my account. Once we have identified that this is the case, they are unable to remove the subscriptions, which I did not subscribe to in the first place. I was told I have to do this from my devices. How it works, is that Telkom will send you an SMS telling you that you are now subscribed to a service, and you have to request to be unsubscribed. When the Telkom consultant checked, my accounts were already linked to 3 different services, each charging R3 per day per cell number. With 4 numbers on my personal account, and a lot more on my business account, it does not require a rocket scientist to see how Telkom is *****ing money. Please check your account right now: Dial *179#. Then select: 9 - More Entertainment, 7 - Self Service, 1 - Active Subscriptions. The Telkom consultant told me I should set my spending limit for each number to R1, which does not seem like the correct solution. Telkom should prevent these subscriptions. I was unable to use the Telkom App and Telkom Website to cancel these, and have to use the USSD code on each of the Mobile Devices. Telkom does not want to provide a refund! According to the Telkom Consultant that I worked with, a lot of people are complaining... I've been paying now for 4 months, for these ******* subscriptions. I will move all my Personal, Business and Fibre accounts away from Telkom.
